I drown in creativity when I come to the very first art piece in the exhibition. The concepts are clearly written on the wall and I really feel it. It was the architecture that like the most which is the NTU Learning Hub. The classrooms are in oval shape and the flower shape of the building and also the opened-air corridor has actually liven up the whole building. I like the shape as well as the combination of different heights of the buildings. It is just the way too cool!
For the entire exhibition, I find creativity is limitless. Design is really awesome! From furniture design, graphic design, to architecture, I found amazing inspiration around. Even their collection of christmas cards are not only 2D cards. There is another attractive architecture which is the Jiading Bridge in UK that can roll up like a worm.
We can play with these shaped magnets. It brings a message that many designers draw inspiration from basic shapes. From these shapes, they build new things.
This is why shapes are building blocks of design.
Design are such living career that we can find no end to explore it.

Here is a famous building in Shanghai. It's look like a science fiction building. Structure of the building is made from thousand of crystal rod. With the effect of lights, it's create for this building a gorgeous beauty
This is how the single crystal rod of the building look like. Lots of effort were put in this building. Imagine how cool it is when you are inside the building. Feeling like you're lost in some magical crystal forest.
This is a creative moving bridge. It can twist to other direction, can roll into a small structure to save the space. It's very useful when big ship want to pass under the bridge or combine with water and light effects to perform an interesting show.
All in all, I think designers are playing very important roles in our life. Almost everything around of need a helping hand from designer. Creative ideas make our life easier, more joyful, more convenient,... This's also the purpose of a designer.

Uk Pavilion
The Seed Cathedral; a celebration of growth and light
- Thomas Heatherwick
We were captivated by this installation when we first entered this exhibition hall, of its simplicity and clarity; such detailed and meticulous creation of an architectural design. It is like an extraordinary pavilion. It looks like a good mix of a head of hair, a dandelion in seed, and a hedgehog.
It's centerpiece is a round-cornered cuboid formed by translucent wands which waves in the wind. This artwork is definitely something worth remembering as it does not need to rely on any video projections for any effect and these qualities exudes a certain charm.
Instead of merely focusing on the exterior of the pavilion, this installation was built to let the public know what is going on inside.
This installation has an extremely beautiful concept, is simple and has very intricate details.
What could be improved?:
We personally feel that it could have been given a better structure - the sense of reverence it deserves of it being slightly elevated, suspending in mid-air in the middle of a massive black based area.
Apart from this work, we feel that all of his other works are like brand new inventions. They are very innovative, creative and good for business too.
