Old and New design elements


The


Our group chose this picture as it portrays the incorporation of both the old and new design elements.

The old elements in this are:
- The traditional textured brick walls that dates all the way back to the Bronze Age,
- The ancient-looking carpet 
- The textured stained looking feature wall 

The colors used under the 'old elements group' are very suburban and, the wooden chairs gave off a countryside feel. 

The new elements seen in this are: 
- The white modern fabric sofa 
- and, the white standing lamp.
The wall paper on the left is very abstract one which look very modern and western.

White tiles on the floor aesthetically made the room look more spacious.              
The shape of door is also rounded one which represent old style.and u will see an indoor balcony which look like a balcony castles.behind the balcony u will see a small window,which is also look like old style.

All in all, the combination of the styles from different eras has made this place look rustic, homely and yet luxurious at the same time.

IKEA ad


This advertisement brings out the mood of warm, lovely, nervous and funny.

This showed when the mother urgently clean up the entire house to give her children a comfortable environment and also baked cookies.

The whole advertisement showing the product from IKEA,  fully expressed and promoted its products,  usage and function.
By the way, there's variety of products are shown in the advertisement. 

The pictorial element and written element and musical element are well organized as in they showed the products name while the video reach the specific parts.

The clear details also showed IKEA's self-service DIY marketing strategy

Aim of IKEA : Create better life

The style of this advertisement are simple, natural, fresh, warm and comfortable.

It uses a funny style to present the variety of life which strongly presented in these parts :
- leopard sofa >> cartoon
- messy desk >> children's bed
- boyfriend >> storage space

These showed the message of " changes in life can be done in a short while "

Wacoal (Push-Up Bra) Commercial



The ending of this commercial was unexpected. By unexpected, we meant the transformation of the busty lady who then turned into a man.


We believe that the main objective of this advertisement was to show the audience that all ladies' confidence can be boosted with their bras, even if they are not well-endowed.

It is of no surprise that men are stimulated by the wonders of what a push-up bra can do.

But what is more surprising is the boosting effect on a cleavage that a woman can have on herself. As many women believe that their desirability is directly linked to the size and shape of their breasts, and to a certain extent, that could possibly be true. Many people find large breasts very attractive while others may prefer smaller breasts, or are not particularly focused on the breasts at all. Like some people are attracted by facial features, shapely legs, or hips. So this push bras could be a big help for people who are not well endowed.

OMO Advertiment


'This advertisement is about a little girl try to help an  you figurine seller to sell more product, So that he can save money to come back home on Lunar New Year with his daughter. The sympathy for an old man, the excitement when she can help him touching the viewer. Ignoring the  dirty of her white shirt, all her care is about she was able to help that old man.
OMO's marketing stately towards to community. The effective of this advertisement is it featured the love between human. Sometimes small action can carries great significance. The sound added more effective for this adv, express the sadness of old man and the excitement of the girl. The OMO advertisement not just an advertisement, it's also educate children to care more about others.' -

Advertisement plays important role in modern life.This advertisement is based on emotions and education . It showcases love,care and respect for others.It portraits how a girl helped a man by using her creativity. The elements used in this advertisements are a chines market and chines old man and family.The theme is based on chines new year celebrations at home and reunion of families .The colors used are very monochromes and some combination of bright red and shiny golden colors . It really make a festival environment. The stall display and the toys displayed on that old man stall are very traditional.In today's world everyone is busy with their own work. They forget some social responsibilities like doing and caring for someone.But this advertisement display an honest and pure love of a girl,her sympathy and her try towards togetherness and reunion of an old man family.This advertisement gives a message that we should educate our children to make them aware of others or to help them in any way possible because a small help can make a big difference.
